Bengaluru: Karnataka Minister DK Shivakumar has made his dislike for selfies known, again. A video went viral on Monday showing the minister slapping away the hand of a man who was trying to take a picture with him.
The incident took place in Karnataka’s Bellary on Sunday.
In the video, a man is seeing trying to capture a selfie with Karnataka’s Energy Minister DK Shivakumar on his phone. Irked, the minister slaps away the man’s hand and shoves him aside. The man stumbles and his phone falls to the ground. The minister’s supporters then hastily clear the way for him.
This is not the first time the minister has assaulted someone attempting to take a selfie with him. Last year, DK Shivakumar was seen hitting a student who tried to take a picture with him.
