Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Parliament today, addressing both the houses. In Lok Sabha, PM Modi launched a sharp attack on the Congress while highlighting the achievements of his government. His speech there, however, was marked with massive Opposition sloganeering while his Rajya Sabha speech proceeded in relative peace with the MPs largely renaming silent.
While attempting to keep the MPs quiet, chairman Naidu was seen reprimanding Congress’s Renuka Chowdhury. To this, PM Modi said, “Chairmen sir, don’t interrupt Renukaji… it is after Ramayan that we are hearing such loud l;aughter.” The Prime Minister’s comment evoked loud laughter from the government benches.
