Controversial Gujarat MLA Jignesh Mevani is back again with a new controversy, and this time, he harassed a private citizen.
Mewani is not new to controversies, he had faced backlash for purportedly making negative comments against Dalit icons BR Ambedkar, Kanshi Ram and Mayawati.
In an another incident, Jignesh was booked under under IPC sections 153, 188 117 and 34, after he gave a statement inciting disturbance during Modi rally, he said : “The role of youth is important today. When Modi Ji arrives at Bengaluru on April 15 to address a public gathering you mingle with the crowd, throw the chairs in the air and disturb his meeting,” Mewani was allegedly quoted as saying.
Hittting new low, Mewani in one of the tweet targeted Shefali Vaidya, a privatre citizen. Mewani used photo shopped images of her along with Sri Sri, and compared it with some Bollywood movie.

This was new low from an elected representative, who also claims to be a Dalit leader. Mewani chose to harass a private citizen not belonging any political party or org.
Mewani was taken to task by twitteratti and people called for suspending the account
Can't believe people of Gujarat elected this sadak chaap Mawali. Taken to RTing photoshopped pics now? On the other hand, am happy that people like Jignesh think I move around with people like @SriSri and @myogiadityanath!! https://t.co/l6J1dyeDHX

सड़कछाप लोगों की सड़कछाप सोच ही हो सकती है । संतो और नारीशक्ति का मज़ाक बनाकर तुम अपने परिवार के द्वारा दिए संस्कारों को परिलक्षित कर रहे हो । https://t.co/dHu8TzMUKL

This guy is an elected leader.
The lady is a private citizen.
